Hill City Crash is a Lynchburg local basketball team that helps build faith of their players while playing basketball. My team, Lauren Harrison, Alex Fowler, Jess McGaha, and I created a partial rebrand upon the request. HCC asked to keep the majority of their color palette and over all aesthetic of their current brand. Together, we came up with a strategy to tackle this rebrand. With the logo, we were inspired by the reason why HCC's mascot was a rhino. A group of rhinos is called a crash, which is how we finalized on including three rhino heads instead of one.
The photography style was inspired by HCC's Instagram and website pages. With a sporty yet moody overlay, we created each social media post while highlighting the unique orange hue that is in the original brand.
